My name is Jessie Huang and I'm an advocate for survivors.

In 2018, I survived intimate partner violence & the NYC criminal justice system, as both victim & perp.

​

NYPD brought felony charges upon me after I'd come forward as an assault victim.

​

These days, I have a lot of thoughts, opinions, and advice to share w/ others.

​

I created this blog as a way to tell my story, to help others, and to create something positive out of the trauma.

​

I also write extensively & answer questions about my experiences dealing w/ police and the law on Quora.
